Evaporator & Coil Cleaning

A blocked evaporator or fouled condenser coil costs you money in two ways: higher energy bills and a hygiene risk no surface clean can fix.

FridgePro evaporator coil after specialist clean — restored fin condition

About this service

Evaporator coils sit directly in the airflow circulating around your stored product. When they foul up, they harbour mould and bacteria that are then blown across every surface in the room.

We use specialist non-corrosive coil cleaners and a structured fin-by-fin clean process. Where coils are heavily fouled, we can also chemically deep-clean and re-comb bent fins to restore airflow.

Most clients see a measurable drop in compressor run-time and energy use within a week of a coil clean.

What's included

  • Pre-clean airflow and temperature differential reading
  • Full evaporator coil clean (food-safe chemistry)

Frequently asked questions

Twice a year is typical for catering environments. Bakeries, food production and high-dust environments may need quarterly attention.

Yes — fouled coils force compressors to run longer to hit setpoint. A clean coil typically reduces refrigeration energy use by 10–25%.
