About

Owner-operated. Hands on every job.

FridgePro Cleaners is run by Joel Ntone — a fully-qualified refrigeration cleaning specialist who personally surveys, cleans and signs off every site he takes on.

Our story

Built by a refrigeration cleaner — for the standards EHO and BRCGS actually expect.

Joel Ntone started FridgePro Cleaners after years on the tools cleaning commercial refrigeration across the UK. The same pattern was on every site he visited: routine cleaning teams couldn't keep up with the build-up in cold rooms, drainage trays and evaporators, and EHO inspections kept catching it.

So he built a single-discipline operation: refrigeration cleaning, done to a documented standard, every time. No general cleaning, no janitorial bolt-ons, no subcontracted teams cutting corners. Just one qualified specialist who turns up, does the work properly and signs it off.

Today FridgePro Cleaners works with restaurants, convenience retailers, supermarkets and food manufacturers across the UK — built on a reputation for documentation, reliability and results that hold up at audit time.

The standards

Four things Joel never compromises on

Compliance

Every clean is documented, ATP-tested and signed off — built to satisfy EHO, HACCP, BRCGS and customer-led audits.

Excellence

Specialist-only work. No general cleaning, no janitorial extras — refrigeration is the only discipline, done to a documented standard.

Reliability

Single point of contact, consistent visits, predictable invoicing. The boring fundamentals done very well.

Sustainability

Biodegradable, food-safe chemistry. Clean coils mean lower energy use — typically a 10–25% reduction post-clean.

Meet the founder

Joel Ntone — founder & lead engineer

When you book FridgePro, Joel is the one who turns up. He surveys the site himself, plans the clean, does the work, photographs the before/after and signs off the compliance pack. No handovers, no middle-men, no guesswork about what was done.

Owner-operator — on every job

Joel works hands-on across the full range of commercial refrigeration — from a single under-counter fridge in a restaurant kitchen to multi-section walk-in cold rooms in supermarket back-of-store. The work is documented, the client sees the before/after, and the compliance pack lands in their inbox within 48 hours of the visit.

Industry training matters in this sector — refrigerants are regulated under F-Gas, working at height around evaporator units requires IPAF certification, and older sites bring asbestos awareness into play. Joel holds the current qualifications for all of it, verifiable with the awarding bodies below.
